[When Tim wakes up, he smells something in his apartment that doesn't exactly smell like his favorite coffee. It's a bit too early for him to care, though, so he ignores it and takes a groggy shower.
He throws on a dark robe and shuffles into his kitchen, still half-asleep. Plopping down into a chair at the table, he finally looks over and sees Conner at the stove, frying up pancakes. He blinks sleepily and takes a sip from the cup of coffee he finds sitting in front of him.]
What happened to my usual breakfast of coffee and cereal?

as soon as he is outside the door everything is a weapon and everyone is an enemy, so he has to look at even the littlest movement or the tiniest object as he walks onward.
he lets Tim get in the car first, right after he has checked if there is anything weird with it (like a bomb, for example), and then he gets in, sitting at the driver's seat. ]
